Advantages

The integrative model is customer-oriented and therefore, is potentially more suitable. Different approaches may be adopted in the chain in order to provide satisfactory therapy to the patient. It is a flexible approach and may be designed for the patient case.

17b Disadvantages

It is a relatively modern approach, therefore, is not fully recognized and assessed. There is a risk of lack of combability. It can be ineffective and cause harm to the patient.
